How you can help

Main Street Norwalk Committee Responsibilities:

Design: The main responsibility of this committee is to ensure the attractiveness and appeal of the uptown area; ease of finding available parking, address signs, etc. They work with business owners on window displays, façade improvements, and other aesthetic items.

Economic Restructuring: The main responsibility of this committee is to support, retain, and attract uptown businesses through promotion of our many business resources.

Organization: The main responsibility of this committee is to recruit and train new volunteers.

Promotions: The main responsibility of this committee is to promote the Uptown Norwalk Historic District through events and activities, advertising, as well as handling the brochure and website.

Main Street Norwalk is always looking for hard working, community-minded volunteers to help with our activities and events.

Many volunteers choose to serve on one of our four Committees; Design, Economic Restructuring, Organization or Promotion. These Committees are the major task force of the Main Street Norwalk Program.

To volunteer, please complete the Volunteer Registration Form and email to the Program Manager at mainstreet@norwalknedc.com, or print the page and mail to:
